Last night Big K.R.I.T. hosted a little listening session for his upcoming album Live From The Underground. The event was held at Fight Klub Studios in NYC & it was PACKED out. Among the crowd I spotted a few familiar faces like the Rosenthal Brothers, of course the big homies Va$htie & Smoke DZA, ASAP Twelvy,and the Philly homies Cory Townes, Chill Moody & Ryshon Jones were also in attendance.
I got to speak to K.R.I.T. for a little while & he expressed to me how excited he is for the world to finally just hear what he has to say & that he feels its the right time for it. He also told me that he produced the entire project himself to showcase other skills. The album is definitely one to look out for, it has great music, strong messages, dope features and great features such as Bun B, Melanie Fiona, Anthony Hamilton, 8Ball, MJG, 2 Chainz & B.B. King.
Live From The Underground will be available June 5th.
