ScoreMore completed another one of our tours last week with Cleveland’s Chip Tha Ripper. Fresh off tour with Kid Cudi, Chip and his SLAB crew were fresh enough to rock with us on not only a Southern tour but a complete West Coast run as well. Chip’s nationwide tour with ScoreMore was the first for both of us, as he headlined all of the dates, and we extended into new territories. The tour spanned 24 cities as Chip rocked the house with his live band featuring Mike Moore on the drums (Kid Cudi’s drummer) and Chuck Gibson on the guitar (Sean Kingston’s MD).

In true ScoreMore fashion we find it necessary to share our Texas recap – which includes the celebration of Chip’s birthday and a special appearance by Bun B.

I’m very proud to introduce the world to Pulled Over By The Cops, the new hip-hop supergroup consisting of Chuck and Mikey of The Cool Kids, Freddie Gibbs, Chip The Ripper, production-duo the Blended Babies and sometimes Bun B. This conglomerate (sans Sir Michael Rocks) first made their mark on Gibbs’ “Oil Money” last year, and have been working on this collaborative effort in between their respective solo (and group) efforts. They’ve already knocked a handful of tracks, and make their formal (re)introduction alongside Nate Santos, who handles the hook on this one. The Blended Babies will be handling production throughout the project, and it’s shaping up to be a monster based on this crew’s chemistry thus far. This is only the beginning. Respect their Authority.

I'll never get tired of Hip Hop supergroups. I just be upset when they don't drop a project *cough*CRS*cough*.

Kid Cudi returned to Twitter last night & wasted no time lett'n loose w/ some exclusive sh*t. Less than 3 months after seeing 167k of MOTM2 fly off the shelves in its first week, Cudi announced yesterday that his 3rd album is slated for a hopeful summer release, produced entirely by him and his go-to-guy Dot Da Genius. Exact title of the album was unclear but he referred to it as "the wizard album" and that it would contain no raps, just rock & singing. For his rap fans he'll be releasing a free mixtape "A Man Named Scott", also coming this summer. Last but not least a few hours ago he announced he, Chip Tha Ripper & Cage would be going on tour, dates and location undisclosed as of press time.

OnSMASH in conjunction with Slab Ent. and Ilthy present From Me, To You (The Prelude To Gift Raps), which is the preview to the debut album from Chip Tha Ripper, entirely produced by Chuck Inglish from The Cool Kids. This EP is the first of two installments that will feature all new music from the Cleveland native. Gift Raps is due out later this year.
