“We — I say ‘we’ because I’m in Throne mode — we’re in a great place creatively,” Jay said of his and Kanye West’s chemistry. “You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we’re really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone.”
With things still in the works, Pharrell is reluctant to let go of any info. Instead, he’d rather just let Jay speak on things when he is ready. “Well, you know, he’s very discreet about details and stuff,” P said. “I’m just a filmmaker, musically. I let everybody else play the roles.”
Tweeted about it earlier but here's the actual footage. Watch the ending.
“I met a bad red bone, I took the bitch home/ I asked her what she wanna watch, she said, ‘surely not The Throne',” - Lil Wayne
Thoughts?

According to VEVO, the highly anticipated 2nd video from WTT will be released tomorrow at noon. From what I hear, the video is ill. It might restore life to the song.

Jay-Z sat with MTV News and spoke on J. Cole's recent Best New Artists Grammy Nomination and says "in my eyes, he already won." and basically says that we need more artists like Cole. I agree.
“It’s every artists dream to play a venue as legendary as Carnegie Hall. The fact that I can use the arts and my talent to benefit the education of the next generation of artists, entrepreneurs, and great thinkers makes for a legendary night. I’m proud to be a part of the continuing work of United Way of New York City and expanding the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.” - Hov
Shouts to RR on the footage.
But everyone knows this is the best track off the album.
Its also the anniversary of Kris Kasanova's first project The Long Way Home. I remember the first time Kris was on DWNDRadio and I heard his track "Mona" & instantly was interested in his music. Even though his album =War Paint= recently dropped, you should check out The Long Way Home also. Download The Long Way Home asap, & if you need a reason to, watch the video for "Mona" at the bottom.
The official footage from Kanye & Jay-Z's performance at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show a couple weeks ago.
Kanye performed Stronger then Jay-Z came out to perform everybody's favorite joint. We need a video for that record man.
In part 2 of their sit-down, Hov shares his thoughts on Oasis front man, Noel Gallagher’s initial push back on a rapper headlining London’s Glastonbury Festival, as well as NBA Commissioner David Stern’s request to Stoute that he ask Jay-Z to tell people to “change clothes back” to jerseys after a decline in sales following the release of ‘Change Clothes’
Check out part one of the exclusive interview above, featuring Jay-Z discussing the meaning of his joint album with Kanye West, Watch the Throne, which debuted at number one in 23 countries; on his epiphany that his music has a substantial impact on mainstream America; and on being an unpaid spokesman for Cristal champagne. - Huffington Post
Thank You.
217k and the number 1 album in the country.
Jay-Z also spoke on J. Cole's big first week below:
“J. Cole’s success is testament to amazing artist development and Cole’s hard work. I want to congratulate him on a #1 album and more importantly a great body of work.”
