Inspired by a trip to Los Angeles, Corpy was influenced by the culture, and environment of California, and decided to create a project about it. “The atmosphere there is very inspiring, and I decided to create a mix tape reflecting what I saw there. It was through the creation of this project, that I finally understood the concept of “Going Hollywood" Most of the tapes production was handled by Austin Millz and Sha-leik. "There taste in music is incredible, and their sound selection, made picking beats, as easy as breathing,” says Corpy about the genesis of his writing and producing relationship with Austin Millz and Sha-leik. “We have a lot of similarities musically, that's why without question their my favorite producers out today. They brings so much creative energy to everything they work on.”

“’Corpyfornia’ was recorded in Los Angeles in May 2010 and then further worked on in New York,” and paints the perfect picture of what California is like for anyone who is never been there. “I made this project to inspire people, to take a trip to California. Everyone, always talks about going there, but they never do. I made this to inspire them to travel, to this wonderful place.”
