Hodinkee has come up with custom timepiece from Project X Designs based on the Rolex Explorer II. Since Rolex themselves have yet to unveil an Orange Hand Explorer, Hondinkee took it upon themselves to deliver this amazing finish on the Rolex Explorer II. “The Explorer II has been coated in DLC to give in the “blackout” look. Then, Project X filled the 24-hour scale on the bezel with bright orange paint. Finally, and most importantly, the red GMT hand has been replaced with an orange one.”

Project X will have a limited run of only 24 pieces available but no word on pricing yet. Check them out at the link above.
