The 134th entry in the DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of S-Preme, the Chi-town native who recently earned reader acclaim for mixtape cut Go Hard. On his brand new, previously-unreleased Winner freestyle, the currently-unsigned emcee flows over original boardwork by Woody. S-Preme is currently working on two forthcoming projects: Everyone Loves Everything, due out in March, and S-Prodigy, set to drop in May

The Sicktape sees S-Preme narrating the spikes and spirals of being an aspiring MC. Each track unveils another chapter in the protagonist’s journey thru the limelight, including some unexpected hurdles that many in the industry are all too familiar with. By the end, The Sicktape will have rising stars and star-gazers wondering whether the “big time” truly is worth the sacrifice of mind, body, and — in most cases — the soul.

Guest spots from Amanda Diva and ESSO along with production from Soundtrakk (Lupe Fiasco’s in-house beatsmith) and Charles Hamilton set the scenes for this audio odyssey.

S-Preme unveils the cover art and final lead-up track to his forthcoming mixtape, The Sicktape: Volume 2. The Chi City spitter goes inon "Go Hard" over a soulful backdrop laced by Soundtrakk — who you may better know as Lupe Fiasco's go-to beatsmith.

S-Preme's The Sicktape: Volume 2 drops early next month, and will be hosted by deckmaster Terry Urban. Co-sponsors Dope Couture, GoWhere Hip Hop, and Kevin Nottingham will be among the first spots to have it.
