At this years Nike World Basketball Festival, Converse, Jordan and Nike joined together and became one. The workshop was called Make Something and involved teens from all over to come together and have a chance to work with some designers and come up with a product that can possibly be released into the market. The shoe combines elements from all three brands. I think it looks pretty okay for the first run. And I love that kids were involved in the production. Good job Nike.

And yet again, another pair of Lebron James kicks. Nike is only making 123 pairs of the Nike Air Max Lebron Vii Beijing sneaker. I did not find out exactly when they will be released. The colors represent his high school Saint Vincent-Saint Mary.
With the end of summer nearing, professional football is soon to commence. To commemorate the Green Bay Packers, Nike SB has released a Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB in a dark army/sail colorway. Although the green isn’t as bright, it’s definitely a better choice as the dark army suede goes well with the dark sail yellow and white. This White/Midnight Navy Nike Air Max Uptempo is beginning to hit select Nike accounts nationwide. The ’90s basketball shoe is often connected to Reggie Miller, Tim Duncan and Vince Carter, who rocked the Max Uptempo when he played at UNC. The Uptempo features an Air Max unit embedded in the heel and a vibrant blue Swoosh on the midfoot. The Nike Air Max Total Max Uptempo is available now at Proper for $160.
