Make way for the King. After a few setbacks, and a recent dispute over the authenticity of MJ’s vocals, the ball is finally rolling for the much-anticipated album by the late gloved icon. Here’s the official artwork for his amply titled project Michael, due in stores December 14th. The oil painted cover, which was designed by artist Kadir Nelson, highlights some of Mike’s key moments in his illustrious career. The album will also join projects from Diddy, Ciara, and Yo Gotti on the shelves, who all have no chance in hell to compete with this LP. A milli maybe? I’ll definitely be copping this one.

..its getting pushed back again

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — The date of the funeral for pop legend Michael Jackson has been changed to September 3, the singer’s spokesman said Friday.

Jackson originally was scheduled to be laid to rest August 29, on what would have been his 51st birthday.

The private ceremony will still take place at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, according to a statement from Ken Sunshine. No reason was given for the change in date.

Hard to believe that Michael Jackson has been dead for over a month now, he's still fresh on most people's mind. I was going through hiphopdx and saw a link for this video. I remember it from right when he passed but hadn't listened to it since. Its very sad to watch it, but also heartwarming because it showed how much of an impact he made.
