Back at the end of September / beginning of October we linked up with Wisconsin beatmaker Mark V, going by the alias Madden Miles now, for a new project. As I mentioned before, while a majority of this site is dedicated to Hip-Hop, I have a fond appreciation for soul music. Fond appreciation may actually be an understatement. I love soul music. Which obviously makes sense considering Hip-Hop is fused with soulful undertones by way of rhyme and often times production.

To me, Donny Hathaway was one of those artist that defined soul, and his music embodied every ounce of it. So, I challenged Madden Miles to make a beat tape with Hathaway samples.
