Over the past few years hip-hop’s gone askew, weighted towards disposable music and dishonest emcees. DMV standout Lyriciss is here to to help right those wrongs with his new quickstrike project, The Balance EP: Respect. The project contains four original and hard-hitting selections, including reader-approved leaks Stop Scheming and title track The Balance. Vocal duties on Respect are handled entirely by Lyriciss. Production comes from beatsmiths Grussle, J-Scrilla and Chop-La-Rok.
