This evening, the nominees for BET's annual Hip Hop Awards were announced on 106 & Park with Lil Wayne leading the race with 11 various nominations. The categories seemed reasonable, though some left bittersweet feelings.
The awards I'll personally be watching for are Rookie of the Year which includes Big K.R.I.T., Big Sean, Frank Ocean, Diggy Simmons, Tyler the Creator, Wiz Khalifa ; & also Big K.R.I.T. – Return Of 4Eva, B.o.B – No Genre, J. Cole – Friday Night Lights, Kendrick Lamar – Section .80, Frank Ocean – Nostalgia, Ultra take up the Best Mixtape category.

More importantly, I'll be looking out for the Hip Hop Awards Cyphers and just our luck (not so much BET's) the list for the cyphers leaked earlier today. The roster is as follows.. :
Cypher #1: XV, Chris Sutton, Gilbere Forte and Jay Rock
Cypher #2: Rico Staxx, Wais P and French Montana
Cypher #3: Estelle, Lacrae, Saprano and Nitty Scott
Cypher #4: Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill and Pill
Cypher #5: B.o.B, Kendrick Lamar, Machine Gun Kelly, Tech N9ne and Big K.R.I.T
Cypher #6: Lady of Rage, Dom Kennedy, Skillz and Blind Fury
